At the Awards Driving School Leicester we are passionate about what we do. We want to be the first and best choice for local people wanting to learn how to drive.

Our reputation is growing because we offer excellent driving tuition and we adhere to a fair deal package. We want to build your driving skills as quickly as possible to the standard required to successfully pass your theory assessment and practical test.

We want you to feel that every £ spent with Awards was worthwhile. On average our pupils achieve test proficiency within 25 to 35 hours. The Driving Standards Agency set the figure at between 55 and 70 hours.

We provide one-to-one tuition at all times. We do not double-up with our learners, although a pupil’s parent, or other family member, is welcome to sit in on the lesson if requested.

But at Awards we also like to offer additional benefits to our students. We have created an on-line facility that enables you to purchase a special driving tuition gift voucher. Register how much you wish to spend and we will produce a voucher that can be presented to the named recipient.

When you decide to learn with the Awards Driving School Leicester, you will receive a welcome pack.

• your own Awards’ record of achievement that clearly shows the 24 driving stages we work through to develop your road awareness and practical skills.

• Information for family members on extra driving experience

Your ‘pointer to progress’

At the Awards Driving School Leicester we understand that learning to drive will probably feature an element of parental or partner involvement. At the end of each lesson your instructor will fill in the progress achieved on to your driver’s record, but at Awards we go one better. We also offer to send an email or text to you and your nominated family member which will be entitled ‘your pointer to progress.’

We highlight your progress and suggest what we need to concentrate on during your next lesson to continue improving your proficiency. This ‘pointer to progress’ email or text is very helpful as a simple reminder – particularly if you are receiving additional driving from a parent or partner.
